Personal Trainer with a difference; when it comes to dealing with physical and mental health problems I have literally been there, done it and got the XXL t-shirt, having previously reversed my own
obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety and depression, all through sustainable and enjoyable exercise and nutrition.
As I battled with my own health and weight, I tried all the gimmicks and games that are out there- there’s not many fad diets I haven’t been on myself. Keto, VLCD, Intermittent Fasting, Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Dukan, sugar free, meal replacement shakes, low fat, low carb… you name it; I have tested it. Sure, I lost some weight initially with some of these, but over time all the weight crept back on (and sometimes a bit extra that wasn’t there in the first place, too!).
Sound familiar? That’s because
absolutely none of these fad diets are sustainable long term.
